If your child is looking for an activity during April vacation, look no further. Mass Audubon’s drop-off school vacation week program immerses children in nature through stories, games, crafts, and hikes led by our experienced team of environmental educators from 9:00AM-2:30PM daily. Offered for 3rd-5th graders in partnership with Brewster Recreation!Trek through the woods, vernal pools, and tidal flats to discover nature springing back to life on Cape Cod. Search for life under logs, or soaring overhead as you explore the outdoors with new friends! Groups will focus on a different habitat each day of the week.What to bring: *Layered clothes that can get wet and dirty, play clothes*A hat with a brim for sun protection*Socks and sneakers or close-toed shoes. Adult Pick-Up Basketball Will Start Thursday October 5th, 2023. Dates: Thursdays: October 5,2023 - June 23, 2024. There is no Adult Pick-Up Basketball when school is closed and/or during school vacations.Time: 6:45PM-8:45PM Ages: Men & Women 18+ Location: Eddy Elementary School Gym, Rear EntrancePrice: $5 drop in fee per person per day (Cash Only) Program Description: Held on Thursday evenings and open to all adults 18 and over. The Brewster Recreation open adult basketball program is back! Designed to create a positive opportunity for men and women to participate in pick-up basketball games, socialize, and be active in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. To participate, simply arrive at Eddy Elementary School (park in back parking lot) enter though back gym doors, pay recreation staff member $5.00 cash, sign in and agree to the program waiver, and have fun! All ability levels are welcome to join. No experience necessary. Equipment is provided. What to bring: Basketball shoes, athletic clothing (white and/or black shirt/jersey) and water.
