Lower Cape Recreational Softball LeagueRegistration For Brewster Residents Opens Tuesday, February 12, 2024Registration For Non-Brewster Residents Opens Monday, February 19, 2024Dates: May 6, 2024 - June 18, 2024Time: 5:00PM - 7:00PMAges: Grades 2-6Location: Home Games & Practices held at Town Hall Fields Price: $35R/$45NR/Per ChildBrewster Recreation offers a $15 sibling discount for each additional child in the same household who registers for this Softball program only. The sibling discount will be applied at the end of the checkout process. Registering for other sports/programs/activities does not qualify for sibling discount.Program Description: The Lower Cape Rec Softball Leagues are organized travel leagues for children in grades 2-6 and consist of teams from Barnstable to Provincetown. Depending on the turnout from other towns, teams will play a weekly schedule with one or two weekday games (depending on number of teams in league) and a weekly practice day scheduled by the coach. If there are not enough teams to make a league, the program will run internally. Teams fill up quickly so register as soon as possible. No experience necessary to participate. Volunteer coaches needed! If interested please contact Brewster Recreation before registering your child/children. The typical season schedule: *Subject to change*Grades 2&3:Games: Mondays at 5:00PM or 5:30PM depending on location.Practice:TBD Grades 4-6:Games: Tuesdays at 5:00PM or 5:30PM depending on location. Practices: Coach Gerlach - Thursdays @ 5:00PM **Grades 2&3 League will begin their games as "Coach Pitch" and will transition to include player pitch.
