Brewster Recreation youth soccer program will be a little different this year, but we plan on having just as much fun!  Because we need to adhere to CDC regulations, and mandates by the Town, we will have a clinic style program this year.  Groups of 10 kids will rotate through stations with frequent breaks.  We will concentrate on building basic skills like passing, dribbling and shooting.  Drills and soccer themed games will be the focus.1st & 2nd grade soccer9:00 - 9:45am*We will need a few parent volunteers to help with stations.  Because we can only have 50 people at the field, we will need to limit each child to having one parent at the field.

Cool! Please let us know - you will need to complete a CORI check. (If you volunteer with us for the duration of the program, your race entry will be covered!)Kids will get 4 weeks of running training.  We will be doing short, intermediate, and long distances.We will train 2 times a week as a group and give kids one 'workout' to complete on their own each weekend.*THERE WILL BE NO 5K ROAD RACE THIS YEAR*

New England pickleball ambassador Sherry Scheer will be putting on a pickleball clinics for beginners and advanced beginners. She is currently the Coordinator of the Physical Fitness Degree Programs at Berkshire Community College. She is a 2017 National Pickleball Gold Medalist, Cape Cod Ambassador and an IPTPA certified Level I Pickleball Instructor. IPTPA is the premier benchmark teaching and rating organization in the Pickleball arena. She competes in Pickleball tournaments and teaches private lessons and clinics in MA. Please bring a mask with you!  If you are looking to take the next step in your game, come join us!September 5 (9:00-10:30 am) - Full Court Positioning with movement patterns and strategies.  Players must have the ability to hit ground strokes, serve, return serves and dink.September 12 (3:00-4:30 pm) - “ Coached Play”. We will run on the bike path and on the stone path around the SBES baseball field.All running levels welcome!Parents, want to volunteer to run with us and help supervise while getting in a couple miles? Cool! Please let us know - you will need to complete a CORI check. (If you volunteer with us for the duration of the program, your race entry will be covered!)Kids will get 4 weeks of running training.  We will be doing short, intermediate, and long distances.We will train 2 times a week as a group and give kids one 'workout' to complete on their own each weekend.*THERE WILL BE NO 5K ROAD RACE THIS YEAR*

Brewster Recreation youth soccer program will be a little different this year, but we plan on having just as much fun!  Because we need to adhere to CDC regulations, and mandates by the Town, we will have a clinic style program this year.  Groups of 10 kids will rotate through stations with frequent breaks.  We will concentrate on building basic skills like passing, dribbling and shooting.  Drills and soccer themed games will be the focus.1st & 2nd grade soccer9:00 - 9:45am*We will need a few parent volunteers to help with stations.  Because we can only have 50 people at the field, we will need to limit each child to having one parent at the field.
